One of the most sought after musicians in the southeast, Darius Starks is a professional saxophonist, delivering tranquil contemporary jazz to the music scene. A native of Irmo, South Carolina, Darius is a graduate of Newberry College where he studied Music and concentrated his studies in Jazz.  

For more than 18 years, Darius Starks has been sharing exhilarating music on a national scale. Darius developed his love and passion for music given the inspiration of his mother, Artena Starks, a Pianist and Choir Director.  Developing a transcending and mesmerizing sound, Darius has earned numerous awards and recognitions including The Most Valuable Player with the Newberry College Big Band and The Outstanding Soloist Award at The New Orleans Jazz.

Darius has established his presence within the southeastern region with regularly sold-out performances.  His soulful performances, has placed high demands on his booking requests.
